Microsoft stopped supporting Quattro Pro files starting with Office 2007, and other office applications, such as LibreOffice and Apache OpenOffice, provide only limited support for Quattro Pro's older WB2 format. However, you can purchase Corel's WordPerfect Office suite, which includes Quattro Pro, or download a 30-day free trial from Corel, and then use the program itself to convert any of its files types -- including WB1, WB2, WB3, WQ1, WQ2 and QPW -- to a format that's compatible with Excel.
Corel Quattro Pro 12 Free Download For Windows
1.Download and install the standard version of Corel WordPerfect Office. If you have a limited number of files to convert, you may be able to use only the 30-day free trial (link in Resources).
2.Launch the Quattro Pro application from the WordPerfect Office suite, and then open the Quattro Pro file you want to convert to Excel.
3.Select the 'File' menu, and then click 'Save As.'
4.Change the 'File Type' setting to your version of Excel. If the Quattro Pro file contains more than 65,536 rows or 256 columns, you must save the file as Excel 2007 or later, or separate the data into smaller files.

What is Corel Quattro Pro?
Quattro Pro is an application that ships as part of Corel’s WordPerfect Office software, providing an alternative to Microsoft’s Excel program. The software was originally known for long having had the highest maximum limits for the number of rows and columns on a single spreadsheet among comparable programs: before its 2007 version, for instance, Excel’s limits were 65,536 x 256 (row x column), while Quattro’s were 1M x 18,276.
Like its main competitor, Quattro supplies users with a tabbed spreadsheet format, macro abilities, spreadsheet functions, mathematical formulae, and multiple toolbars for spreadsheet editing and management. It also allows users to draw from its set of project templates for quick spreadsheet creation and even to create their own templates.
The program is packaged with a set of internal wizards, called Experts, which help users through the process of achieving various tasks, e.g. doing analytical calculations or consolidating cell information. There are 8 experts in all: the Budget Expert, the Scenario Expert, the Map Expert, the Consolidate Expert, the What-If Expert, the External Data Expert, the Analysis Expert, and the PerfectExpert, which is basically the central wizard that covers most of the typical spreadsheet activities.
